Update on St Joseph Staff
and Contact with COVID 19
Important Announcement
On January 14 our staff gathered for a belated Christmas luncheon. Late Monday afternoon, January 18, I was informed that one person who was at that gathering had tested positive for COVID 19. That meant our entire pastoral and office staff had been in contact – emergency protocols and individual testing began.
Not all test results are in but Fr Mike, Fr Vitus, and all the Deacons who were present at mass last weekend have tested negative!
This means two things:
- Anyone who was at mass last weekend and was concerned can now breathe easily.
- We will be able to have our regular Sunday mass schedule this weekend.
Please continue to pray for those affected by the virus and please continue to be vigilant in wearing masks, social distancing, and washing hands regularly.
Thank you for your extra prayers this past week
-Fr Mike
